As a creative, it's really important to make time for some of your own personal projects. It helps break up the day-to-day hustle, it flexes the creativity muscle and it's just plain fun. When it comes to these kinds of shoots, I am blown away by the willingness my friends have to help me out. When I texted Stephanie asking if she'd be into shooting around her amazing Malibu home, she was eager to help out. My aim was to incorporate a lot of plants and trees, so we foraged for flowers all along her property, and, you'll notice, her piercing eyes help to make the images really pop too!
